Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire an Administrative Assistant in Portland, OR.
This is a 40 hours per week temporary position working Monday - Friday, onsite in a school field office setting.
This person will serve as the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors by answering phones, greeting guests, and managing inquiries. They will handle daily administrative tasks including processing mail, organizing the office, ordering supplies, and coordinating with vendors.
The role also supports school leadership with clerical duties while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for students and families.
Additionally, this individual will assist with safety protocols by monitoring entry points, managing visitor access, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. This is a fast‑paced position that requires strong organization and attention to detail.

- High school diploma or GED required
- 2–3 years of administrative or clerical experience
- Experience answering phones and serving as a front desk or first point of contact
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with basic office technology (computer, phone systems, email)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience working in a school or educational environment
- Experience with safety/security monitoring (visitor badging, cameras, etc.)
- Vendor coordination or office supply management experience
- Bilingual communication skills
