OFFICE COORDINATOR Alliance Northwest Role - (Half-Time)
Purpose & ScopeThe Office Coordinator serves as the host of the Alliance Northwest (ANW) office — the one who makes sure ANW is a warm and hospitable place for everyone who encounters it, whether that’s a staff member, a pastor, a guest walking through the door, or a caller on the phone or email.
This role handles the everyday administrative details — financial reimbursements, bank deposits, correspondence, supplies, special projects, office support, and care — so that hospitality is felt in every interaction, in person and from a distance alike.
This position is a ministry role within the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) and contributes meaningfully to the spiritual formation, health, and leadership capacity of the Alliance Northwest family.

Christian Conduct StandardsEmployees are expected to conduct themselves, at all times, in a manner consistent with biblical standards of Christian character and conduct.
Distinctly Christian ActivitiesEmployees must be willing and able to engage in spiritual formation activities, including praying for coworkers and district leaders, participating in devotions, and engaging in discipleship training as appropriate.
Education & Experience- Background in and gifting related to administrative support.
- Demonstrates the spiritual calling, giftedness, and maturity required of ministry leadership within the C&MA.
- Meets requirements for licensing and ordination within the C&MA (or ability to pursue).
The Office Coordinator role facilitates the efficient, hospitable operation of the ANW office by proactively and accurately performing a variety of administrative and hosting tasks.
Office Hosting & Administration- Host and care for everyone who encounters the ANW office — in person, by email, and on the phone.
- Open and close the office on office days, including dishes and restocking supplies.
- Handle bank deposits and petty cash.
- Answer phones and manage general email correspondence with warmth.
- Process reimbursement requests (RFEs) for staff and ANW leaders.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, including post office runs.
- Order and manage office supplies, including shopping trips as needed.
- Keep our database and contact records current.
- Support care needs and funerals with coordination, communication, and care.
- Coordinate maintenance for office/ministry vehicles.
- Maintain physical and digital filing systems.
- Shop for and coordinate staff birthday cards and gifts.
- Provide refreshments for staff meetings.
- Support event administration and logistics.
- Assist Executive Administrators with projects.
- Special projects.
- All Hands-on Deck meetings or events.
- Reports to Executive Admin. Amber Curry.
- Work with the entire District Team.
- Works with Alliance Northwest Churches.
- Ability to work independently.
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.
- Be prepared to commit to a minimum of two years in this role.
- Membership at an Alliance NW church preferred.
- Requires licensing and ordination with the Christian and Missionary Alliance or ability to pursue.
- Salaried, half time position (20-24 hours/week).
- Monday through Thursday (Tuesday & Wednesday in office) with the exception of events.
- $20,000.00 annually (exempt).
- Vacation: 48 Hours (Two weeks plus two days).
