Job Summary

The School of Education ( SOED ) student office assistants provide reception in the main SOED office, Franz 427, support SOED faculty and staff, and perform general office duties. Education majors will not be considered due to confidentially reasons. We are currently looking for students to fill the following hours this fall:

• Tuesdays between 10:00-2:30
• Thursdays between 10:00-2:30

• Greet and help visitors in a friendly and efficient manner
• Answer and field incoming phone calls
• General office duties such as photocopying, scanning, shredding, data entry, projects using Microsoft Office, sort and distribute mail, etc.
• Occasional campus tour for prospective students
• Maintain general tidiness of our office
• Other relevant tasks as assigned

• Confidentiality is required
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs
• Organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Punctual and professional
• Must be helpful, enthusiastic, and have a polite demeanor
• Must be able to interact with a wide variety of people

• Previous experience working in an office
• First-Year and Sophomores preferred
