A Project Assistant opportunity is available in Portland, OR with an established organization supporting industrial facilities and infrastructure construction projects. This direct hire role is ideal for an administrative professional with construction project support experience who enjoys keeping details organized, coordinating documentation, and helping Project Managers move work forward efficiently. The Project Assistant will play an important role in daily project operations, including change order support, submittal coordination, billing assistance, and general administrative support.

- Support Project Managers with daily administrative and project coordination needs.
- Prepare, track, and organize change orders, submittals, and related project documentation.
- Assist with project billing, invoice support, and documentation needed for accurate project records.
- Maintain organized project files, correspondence, schedules, and internal tracking systems.
- Communicate with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to help keep project information current.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation, approvals, and administrative items to support project timelines.
- Salary range: $58,000.00 to $63,000.00 per year.

- 3 to 5 years of administrative support experience, preferably in construction, industrial facilities, infrastructure, engineering, or a related project-based environment.
- Experience supporting project documentation such as change orders, submittals, billing records, invoices, or project files.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Proficiency with common office software and the ability to learn project management or construction documentation systems.
- High attention to detail, follow-through, and accuracy in handling project records and billing support.
- Prior experience supporting Project Managers in construction or infrastructure-related projects.
- Familiarity with construction billing, subcontractor documentation, and project closeout processes.
- Experience using construction project management software or document control systems.
