Office Manager
We are seeking a proactive, customer-service-focused Office Manager to create a welcoming, organized, and high-functioning workplace for employees, clients, and visitors. This person will oversee day-to-day office operations, coordinate facilities and vendors, support employee needs, and help deliver a polished office experience.
Location - Portland, Oregon
Pay - $30/hr
Hours - 32hrs/week Onsite M-W, additional hours remote

What You'll Do- Keep the office organized, stocked, clean, and ready for employees, client visits, meetings, and events
- Manage office, pantry, janitorial, beverage, and kitchen supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, maintenance, cleaning, deliveries, and other office needs
- Prepare for employee and client meetings, including coordinating catering, beverages, supplies, and room setup
- Support office administration, including PTO entry, parking permits, mail distribution, shipping, employee birthday recognition, and maintaining office documentation
- Plan and coordinate employee celebrations, happy hours, holiday parties, recognition efforts, and other team events
- Track office-related expenses and assist with credit card coding and monthly expense organization
- Maintain shared spaces, conference rooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a consistently welcoming environment
- Identify office issues and take initiative to resolve them quickly and thoughtfully
- 2+ years of experience in office management, workplace operations, administrative support, hospitality, facilities coordination, or a related role
- A strong customer-service mindset and genuine interest in making employees' and visitors' experiences better
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable handling both administrative responsibilities and hands-on office tasks
- Experience coordinating vendors, ordering supplies, planning events, and managing office logistics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and comfort learning administrative systems
