jlr portland is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented detailer/supervisor to lead daily vehicle-detailing operations while helping maintain the high presentation standards expected of the jaguar and land rover brands.

this hands-on position combines automotive detailing with team supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in exceptional work, manages time effectively, and can lead a team in a fast-paced dealership environment.

key responsibilities

• perform and oversee complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
• prepare new, pre-owned, service, and customer vehicles to dealership standards.
• wash, wax, polish, vacuum, shampoo, and condition vehicles as needed.
• inspect completed vehicles for cleanliness, quality, and damage.
• assign work and coordinate the daily workflow of the detailing team.
• train, coach, and support detail employees.
• monitor productivity and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule.
• maintain detailing supplies, tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.

qualifications

• automotive detailing experience required.
• previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• ability to organize work, prioritize vehicles, and meet deadlines.
• professional communication and leadership skills.
• valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
