What

You’ll Do
  • Lead programs designed to translate sports science into clear insights, deepening our understanding of athletes and their interaction with innovative products.
  • Cultivate and manage key external partnerships with leading university and industry research groups, continuously evaluating the evolving landscape of performance science.
  • Actively contribute to the strategic direction of innovation initiatives across various teams, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.
  • Drive the execution of data innovation initiatives, ready for seamless integration within our client’s development processes.
  • Provide concise, timely, and impactful updates to leadership on project progress, research findings, and partnership statuses.
  • Develop compelling concept and results‑based reports and presentations, effectively communicating complex information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
What You’ll Bring Must‑Have Qualifications
  • A university degree in data science, sport science, or a closely related analytical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional working experience. A PhD or equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of some professional experience.
  • A profound curiosity for science and technology, coupled with a genuine passion for uncovering insights in the field of sport.
  • Demonstrated ability to comprehend and synthesize complex scientific information, and to articulate these insights clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven capability to educate and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous knowledge sharing.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of a team.
  • Fluent proficiency in English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, a solution‑driven mindset, and a consistent focus on achieving results.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications
  • Proficiency in German is considered an advantageous skill.
