ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Sr. Global Product Line Manager
- Men's Outerwear leads the seasonal strategy, product vision, and global execution for a key product category. In this role, you'll build and manage seasonal line plans, leverage consumer and market insights, and guide cross functional teams to deliver compelling, profitable assortments.
You will play a central role in global Go to Market milestones and drive operational clarity and efficiency across the product creation ecosystem and lead the end‑to‑end product from brief through costing, sampling/fit, and production handoff, ensuring alignment across Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, and regional teams.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE- Develop seasonal line plans aligned with strategic growth drivers, marketplace needs, and brand direction.
- Lead, influence, and align Design, Development, Planning, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Manufacturing toward unified category priorities.
- Support global waypoints and Goto Market activities, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are consistently met.
- communication, tools, processes, and cross‑functional workflows to strengthen operational excellence.
- Balance product excellence, consumer needs, and margin targets to build profitable, globally relevant product assortments.
- Own the global pricing strategy, margin optimization, and SKU productivity; use data to rationalize assortments, reduce complexity, and maximize profitability.
- Drive milestone/gate meetings (brief handoff, line adoptions, color adoption), proactively clear roadblocks, and maintain accountability across teams.
- Translate consumer behavior, trend research, and sales performance into clear product positioning, key item strategies, and seasonal storytelling; equip Sales & Marketing with compelling narratives and tools to drive sell‑in and sell‑through.
- Partner closely with regional merchandising teams to ensure global consistency with appropriate marketplace segmentation.
- Ensure PLM/line tools are accurate and up to date across overlapping seasons.
- A strategic thinker who brings clarity, structure, and insight to complex product decisions.
- A strong relationship builder who drives cross‑functional teamwork and alignment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and confident guiding teams through fast‑moving seasonal processes.

- Deep Product & Category Expertise – 5‑8+ years in apparel merchandising/product creation with strong technical construction, materials, and costing knowledge. Outerwear‑specific product creation and experience is preferred.
- Strategic Line Planning & Leadership – Proven ability to build insight‑driven seasonal line plans and manage pricing, product mix, and profitability.
- End‑to‑End Product Lifecycle Management – Skilled from concept through production, balancing cost/margin decisions with product excellence.
- Cross‑Functional Influence & Leadership – Able to align and influence Design, Development, Planning, Marketing, Finance, Sales & Manufacturing with strong communication and presence.
- Market, Consumer & Business Acumen – Interprets insights, whitespace, and sell‑through with understanding of Wholesale, DTC, and eCommerce channels.
