The Healthcare Technology Management Application Service Manager plays a vital role in bridging clinical operations and technical execution by managing and monitoring the performance of both application and infrastructure support teams. Recognizing that system uptime and reliability directly impact clinical workflows and patient care, this leader oversees service ticket queues to ensure strict adherence to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Functioning as a key liaison, they cultivate strong relationships with healthcare customers to deeply understand their operational expectations and translate those requirements into high-performing, delivered services.
Beyond daily operations, they actively monitor IT compliance relating to security and resiliency, partnering with both service and infrastructure teams to develop and execute targeted action plans that mitigate risk and maintain compliance standards. Additionally, they possess a strong working knowledge of data extraction and an expert ability to analyze, manipulate, and synthesize complex datasets, enabling them to communicate clear performance metrics, trends, and service quality to stakeholders across the organization.
Serves as lead consultant to ensure the alignment, buy-in, and coordination of diverse stakeholders to drive the implementation of successful business initiatives and projects. Provides expertise and drives the development and implementation of business initiatives, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state. Develops business strategy and ensures alignment and prioritization of organizational objectives and business initiatives. Manages complex projects or project components, leads change management activities, and performs complex data analyses to drive business initiatives.
Participates in vendor management as required. Monitors compliance of work activities by ensuring business plans and team members adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
