Inclusive Business Partnerships Manager

This Opportunity

The Inclusive Business Partnerships team is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-oriented professional to support and expand our small business engagement, mentorship, capacity-building, and inclusion initiatives across the Mountain Pacific region. This role serves as a critical connector between WSP staff, clients, industry partners, and small businesses, helping to advance meaningful partnerships that create opportunities and deliver measurable results.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong understanding of the transportation, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or consulting industries. They are equally comfortable coordinating executive-level events, managing complex programs, supporting business development efforts, monitoring compliance requirements, and building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.

This individual will play a key role in the continued growth of our Inclusive Business Partnerships program and will work closely with regional leadership to enhance WSP's reputation as a trusted partner committed to small business development, supplier diversity, and equitable economic opportunity.

• Lead and coordinate inclusive business partnership initiatives across the Mountain Pacific region, supporting small business engagement, mentorship programs, capacity-building efforts, and supplier inclusion objectives.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with small businesses, clients, industry partners, internal stakeholders, and community organizations to advance meaningful partnerships and create opportunities for diverse firms.
• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Partnership 360 events and other small business engagement programs, including communications, marketing coordination, attendance tracking, logistics, registration management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate participation in client, industry, and community events focused on small business development and inclusion, working closely with client account teams and regional leadership to maximize engagement opportunities.
• Oversee regional mentorship program activities, supporting participant recruitment, onboarding, communications, program coordination, and ongoing engagement throughout the lifecycle of mentorship initiatives.
• Support the development and implementation of new capacity-building initiatives, workshops, and educational programming designed to strengthen small business capabilities and foster long-term business growth.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for small businesses seeking partnership opportunities with WSP, providing guidance, resources, and connections to appropriate internal teams.
• Support internal staff in identifying, engaging, and collaborating with qualified small business partners throughout project delivery, business development, and client engagement activities.
• Monitor client and agency requirements related to supplier diversity, small business participation, and inclusion commitments, ensuring awareness of evolving regulations, expectations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business development, project management, and proposal teams to support pursuit strategies, identify qualified teaming partners, and strengthen client-facing inclusion approaches.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of inclusion plans, proposal content, qualification materials, and related documentation to support strategic pursuits and contractual commitments.
