David Weekley Homes is seeking highly motivated Summer 2026 Builder/Construction Management Interns who are passionate about learning about the homebuilding business to join our Portland Team.
Responsibilities include:
* Become familiar with the home building process from pre-contract to post close
* Participate in warranty process including processing warranty requests and customer concerns/issues
* Building and selling the David Weekley Way
* Understanding all functions of a builder's day-to-day activities including scheduling, quality assurance, safety, cost, and material control
* Understanding customer service and its impact on the business
Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled in a full-time college program and graduating in or after December 2026
* Enrollment in college programs for Construction Management, or related field, with an interest in pursuing a Residential Construction career
* Applicants not currently enrolled in a college or university will not be considered
* Must have housing in the Portland, OR / Vancouver, WA area for the duration of the internship (Housing will not be provided by David Weekley Homes)
* Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer internship program
