Job Description

Actalent is seeking a dedicated Superintendent Of Construction to manage tenant improvement and smaller ground-up construction projects ranging from $50K to $5

Mil. This role involves managing subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring costs, scheduling, and solving problems. Proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office for documentation and reporting, is required.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and oversee tenant improvement and smaller ground-up construction projects.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers.

+ Monitor costs and ensure budget adherence.

+ Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.

+ Track the progress of subcontractors and maintain the project schedule.

+ Coordinate with various agencies for reporting and compliance with project documents and specifications.

+ Manage field crews including project engineers, foremen, and assistant superintendents.

+ Ensure quality control and manage project safety.

+ Coordinate on-site manpower, materials, equipment, and site logistics.

+ Implement cost control and job costing, including quantity reporting and forecasting.

Essential Skills

+ Commercial Superintendent project experience ranging from $500,000-$5 million.

+ Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent field experience.

+ Proficiency in construction software such as MS Project and Procore.

+ Knowledge of building construction, scheduling, and cost control procedures.

+ Familiarity with general contracts, conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Blueprint reading.

+ Experience in construction supervision.

+ Proficiency in subcontractor management.

+ Retail, office, warehouse/industrial with ground-up experience up to $5 million.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
