Position: Project Manager - Structural Steel / Bridge Construction

Location: Portland Metro Area

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Standard business hours with project-related flexibility

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel and bridge projects from preconstruction through completion.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage structural steel and bridge construction projects
  • Oversee project scope, procurement, contracts, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Coordinate with fabrication teams, detailers, field crews, subcontractors, and clients
  • Monitor all aspects of project performance including schedule, costs, and forecasting
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation
  • Ensure materials, fabrication timelines, and deliveries stay aligned with project schedules
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Engineers and support staff
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve project challenges

What You Need to Have
  • Experience managing structural steel or bridge construction projects
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and procurement
  • Experience handling contracts, RFIs, change orders, and forecasting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
The Musts
  • Proven experience in construction project management
  • Ability to manage project timelines, costs, and scope
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Experience specifically in structural steel fabrication or bridge construction
  • Engineering or construction management background
  • Experience leading large or complex infrastructure projects
  • Ability to work with engineers, detailers, and fabrication teams
