Construction Project Coordinator
Job Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Construction Project Coordinator, where you will serve as the vital link between Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors. Your role will involve managing project documentation, assisting in RFP/RFQ preparation, and ensuring compliance with various construction programs.
Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between Project Managers, Clients, and Subcontractors, addressing general inquiries and directing them to appropriate departments.
- Organize, prepare, submit, and track subcontracts, supply agreements, and change orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with the preparation of RFPs and RFQs.
- Complete project setup and maintain ongoing project updates using Viewpoint and Autodesk.
- Create and manage project files, ensuring job‑specific documents are organized and controlled.
- Prepare AIA draw requests and invoices.
- Obtain subcontractor certifications and compliance reports related to apprenticeship, M/W/ESB, and Section 3 programs.
- At least 2 years of experience with a General Contractor.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Viewpoint, and Autodesk software.
- Strong skills in construction project coordination, document control, and construction administration.
- Experience with RFIs, change orders, subcontracts, and prime contracts.
- Experience in commercial construction.
- Ability to support up to 5 Project Managers simultaneously.
- Professional presentation and a collaborative, positive attitude.
This is a full-time, in‑office position located in SW Portland, with working hours from either 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, including a one‑hour lunch break. The role is part of a well‑respected General Contractor known for its positive work culture.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR 97201.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
