We are a family-owned 4th generation reputable construction company committed to quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency. We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman to join our team and lead crews on a variety of projects.

Position Overview:
This dual-role position requires a hands-on leader who can operate heavy machinery while supervising and coordinating job site activities. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive equipment experience, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment such as Pulverizers and Specialty Spreaders
  • Lead and supervise crew members on-site to ensure project goals are met
  • Plan daily work activities and delegate tasks effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
  • Monitor job progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment
  • 2+ years of foreman or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices and safety standards
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • OSHA certification is a plus
