Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman
Portland, OR | Full-Time | $70,000–$150,000 per Year
Join a 4th-Generation Family-Owned Construction CompanyWe're a well-established, family-owned construction company with a reputation built on quality work, safety, and taking care of our people. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Foreman who enjoys leading crews, operating specialized equipment, and seeing projects through from start to finish.

- Operate specialized heavy equipment, including pulverizers and spreaders
- Lead and supervise field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Coordinate daily job site activities and assign tasks to crew members
- Monitor production and adjust work plans as needed to meet project goals
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and customers
- Maintain a positive, professional job site culture
- 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
- Previous foreman, lead operator, or crew leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of construction operations and job site safety
- Valid driver's license required
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented attitude
- Monday–Friday, weekend work as needed
- Overtime available
