Electrical Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead, manage, and execute electrical construction projects from inception through final closeout. This role involves overseeing project costs, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring project profitability.
Responsibilities- Manage and execute electrical construction projects from award through final closeout.
- Track job costs and forecast financial performance to manage project profitability.
- Prepare and deliver monthly project status reports, including percent-complete and cost-to-complete updates.
- Perform detailed electrical take-offs and prepare accurate estimates for new and change work.
- Review construction documents to define scope, identify risks, and ensure constructability.
- Make informed decisions related to project cost, schedule, and overall performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, vendors, and internal partners.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities to cross-sell integrated company services.
- Coordinate, schedule, and direct field labor in collaboration with field leadership.
- Review master schedules with field leads and support development of short-interval schedules.
- Promote and actively support an injury-free workplace and a strong safety culture.
- Negotiate scopes, pricing, and contract terms while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience in the regional market.
- Experience supporting semiconductor or industrial construction projects is strongly preferred.
- Ability to develop and maintain successful client and contractor relationships.
- Experience reviewing electrical construction drawings and producing cost estimates.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction methods.
- Ability to read, interpret, and draft construction contracts and detailed scope proposals.
- Experience managing project schedules using established construction scheduling methods.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Excel and Word; estimating software experience is required (Con Est preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining financial and schedule control.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with large electrical scopes up to $10 million.
- Familiarity with industrial project experience and estimation processes.
- Accubid experience is advantageous.
The position involves spending most of the time on-site at a semiconductor client location in Beaverton. The project demo begins in August, with the majority of the scope rolling out by November. Benefits include an opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus and a 401k with a 40% employer match up to the federal limit. This is a Permanent position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $155000.00/yr. Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus. 401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
