Site Safety Manager

JW Fowler is a heavy civil contractor specializing in tunneling deep pipelines commercial facilities and water/wastewater treatment facilities for communities on the west coast. The following duties are typical for this classification. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Administer Safety and Health Plan
• Conduct Safety Meetings
• Help produce JHA’s
• Partner with craft onsite to change safety culture
• Site Safety Inspections
• Ensure Safety Policy is enforced
• Conduct Safety Training as needed
• Control Hazardous working conditions.

• Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, or minimum 10-year Industrial Construction Safety related experience
• OSHA 10, 30
• Valid DL with clean record
• Experienced trainer
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be team player and able to get along with a diverse group of people with a common goal.
