Project Manager/Estimator – Commercial Drywall

A well-established commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a background in commercial drywall, metal framing, and related interior systems.

This position is ideal for someone capable of taking projects from initial bid through final completion.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial drywall, interiors, specialty contracting, or related construction
• Experience in estimating, project management, or a combined PM/Estimator role
• Knowledge of drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, or related scopes
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents
• Experience with takeoffs, pricing, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• 5+ years of commercial drywall experience
• Experience with projects valued at $1M+
• Experience with Bluebeam, OST, Quick Bid, Plan Swift, Procore, or similar software
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and forecasting

Responsibilities:

• Perform takeoffs and prepare commercial drywall estimates
• Develop proposals, scopes, pricing, and change orders
• Manage awarded projects from turnover through closeout
• Maintain schedules, budgets, cost tracking, and project documentation
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and deliveries
• Communicate with general contractors, vendors, field teams, and leadership
• Monitor project profitability, progress, quality, and schedule

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

• Competitive base salary: $85,000 – $125,000+ (depending on experience and market)
