ABOUT THE ROLE

Lease Crutcher Lewis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects in the Portland market. This is a high-impact operations leadership role for someone who understands the planning, coordination, and client partnership required to deliver projects across sectors such as mixed-use, high-rise, civic, multifamily, senior living, office, hospitality, and other complex commercial environments.

In this role, you may take on one large, multi-year, multi-million-dollar project or several small to mid-sized projects, guiding work from early sales and preconstruction through construction execution, closeout, and warranty.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background managing commercial projects across one or more market sectors and is comfortable working with owners, design partners, trade partners, and project teams on large, complex, occupied, or technically demanding projects.

You will also help lead, develop, and mentor project teams, promote professional growth, and represent Lewis through strong client relationships, operational excellence, and a commitment to safety, quality, and company values.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • You build trust quickly with commercial clients by understanding their operational priorities, project goals, technical requirements, and the unique demands of sectors such as mixed-use, high-rise, civic, multifamily, and senior living.
  • You lead projects with clarity, discipline, and ownership, keeping teams aligned around safety, quality, schedule, budget, risk management, and client expectations.
  • You anticipate challenges early, communicate proactively, and help teams solve complex issues before they impact project outcomes.
  • You develop strong project teams by setting clear expectations, coaching team members, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
  • You strengthen Lewis’ reputation in the commercial market through excellent project delivery, professional relationships, and a consistent commitment to doing the right thing.

  • Provide direction for estimating and preconstruction, including coordination of purchasing, operations, phasing, logistics, and constructability planning for assigned projects.
  • Follow projects from preconstruction through close-out and warranty periods.
  • Monitor cost reports, labor resources, schedules, safety programs, quality expectations, and project risks.
  • Coordinate peer reviews and project performance audits on assigned projects.
