The AV Technical Event Producer is responsible for managing and delivering high-quality audio‑visual solutions for live events. This role requires strong technical expertise in AV systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with clients and internal teams.
As an AV Technical Event Producer, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of key client projects. Responsibilities include detailed scheduling and logistics planning, budget oversight and cost control, and comprehensive documentation for each project. You will determine technical equipment requirements, crew staffing needs, and production workflows to ensure successful event delivery.
You will collaborate with internal departments and external partners as needed, prepare project quotes and supporting documentation such as crew sheets and technical plans, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients. This role involves working directly with clients on‑site to manage production and ensure events are executed smoothly and professionally.
You will work closely with the Production Management team to ensure project scope, timelines, and objectives are met, while coordinating with other departments to secure necessary resources and support. A strong understanding of stakeholder management and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences is essential.
The ideal candidate is proactive in researching and staying current with AV technologies, industry standards, and emerging equipment. You will identify and recommend innovative solutions that enhance client experiences. Depending on the project, you may work independently or lead a production team. This role requires proven experience in communication, facilitation, and team leadership, as well as the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of live events.

- Reporting to the Account Management team weekly, as time allows
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Calling attention to any resource shortages
- Excellent client‑facing and internal communication

- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and work constructively with colleagues in a creative, collaborative, and dynamic project
- Successfully manage multiple projects, workflows, and competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse personalities and varying levels of production knowledge/experience
- Experience:
5+ years in studio, broadcast, cinematic, or live production - Minimum of 2 years of experience in comparable role(s)
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Trade show, technical school, or post High School training in an appropriate field may be substituted in whole or in part for the experience requirement above
- Strong customer service with ability to self‑manage
- Proven ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in pressure situations
- Working knowledge of common computer productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office.

This position has a salary range of $85k to $100k DOE.
