THE JOB

As a Writing Lead, you are a senior individual contributor who sets the standard for storytelling craft across projects. You are deeply involved in shaping verbal strategy and creative direction, offering mentorship and guidance while producing compelling, insight-driven copy. Your work bridges messaging clarity and creative originality.

AS A PERSON, YOU ARE:
  • A skilled storyteller with the ability to translate strategic insights into clear, impactful messaging across channels.
  • Collaborative, able to work closely with designers, strategists, and account teams to deliver unified creative concepts.
  • Experienced in mentoring writers, elevating the craft of the team through feedback, guidance, and thought partnership.
  • Confident in client-facing situations, presenting work and navigating feedback with clarity and professionalism.
  • Adept at managing brand voice and verbal identity across campaigns, platforms, and channels.
  • Proficient in writing and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Miro, Slack) and presentation software (Keynote, Google Slides).
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Drive tone, voice, and messaging standards across major accounts.
  • Own executional oversight of narrative work across campaign and brand initiatives.
  • Partner closely with designers and strategists to build unified creative concepts.
  • Serve as a craft mentor and thought partner to writers and art directors.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Writing, English, Journalism, or equivalent experience in creative industries.
  • 5-7+ years of writing experience across brand, campaign, and digital projects.
  • Experience guiding junior writers and owning multi-channel creative messaging.

The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations that do not create an undue burden on the agency are available:
  • Using standard office equipment, computers, and related technology.
  • Activities performed in an office setting with extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and using a computer mouse.
  • Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.

VALUES
  • Be Lean, Take Action:

Connect openly, share ideas honestly, and embrace collaboration without ego.
Show Up Fully:
Bring your whole self to work - your perspective, background, and experiences - and make space for others to do the same.

ENCOURAGEMENT

We know that experience can show up in many ways. We encourage candidates to apply even if you don't meet 100% of the qualifications. If you are passionate about storytelling, eager to grow, and excited to contribute your perspective, we want to hear from you.

We value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and believe the best ideas come from bringing different voices and experiences together. If you're a writer who's hungry to learn, share, and innovate, you'll thrive here.
