Purpose of the Job

Our client offers a suite of devices and tools that are used daily by billions and trusted by over 6 million businesses. The client team is building a new, early-stage in-house Content Studio for social-first creative, and we are looking for a Post-Producer to own post-production across their studio's social video and motion assets. This role manages the pipeline from editor and designer handoff through final delivery, keeping edits, motion graphics, color, sound, and versioning on track across always-on and quick-turn briefs.

The Post-Producer is technically fluent, organized, and curious about how AI tools are changing post workflows. This role partners closely with the client team’s Video Lead, Art Director, Design Lead, Content Producer, Social Program Manager and will work closely under the direction of our client’s Executive Producer to keep every asset moving efficiently from edit to final cut, across every platform format.

This role is based remotely in the United States. The contract is through December 31, 2026 with the possibility to extend up to 1 year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the post-production pipeline for social video and motion assets, from editor/designer handoff through final delivery.

  • Manage versioning, file organization, and asset handoff across editors, designers, and platform-specific exports.

  • Coordinate sound design, color, and motion graphics finishing with the client team’s Video Lead and Design Lead.

  • Track post schedules and flag bottlenecks before they affect delivery timelines, especially on quick-turn briefs.

  • QC final assets against platform specs (aspect ratio, captions, safe zones, file specs) before delivery.

  • Maintain an organized asset archive and naming convention across active and completed productions.

  • Explore AI-assisted post tools (transcription, rough-cut assembly, captioning, upscaling) and bring what works into the studio's workflow.

  • Direct output timelines for client team’s editors and designers while overseeing external post-production and motion vendors.

  • Key deliverables include final, platform-ready video and motion assets across formats (Reels, Tik Tok, Shorts, You Tube, and beyond), a post-production schedule and status tracker for active briefs, an organized, versioned asset archive for the studio, a QC checklist and delivery specs by platform, and sound, color, and motion finishing coordination notes per project.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience
  • 8+ years of post-production experience, with a portfolio of social-first video and motion work

  • Strong technical fluency in post workflows, including file management, versioning, and platform delivery specs

  • Working knowledge of editing, color, and sound tools (Premiere, After Effects, or equivalent)

  • Experience managing post schedules within quick-turn production timelines

  • Strong collaborative instincts, working closely with client’s video, design, and production leads. Preferred qualifications

  • In-house brand or studio experience at a consumer tech, entertainment, or lifestyle company preferred

  • Experience with motion graphics finishing, color grading, or sound design preferred

  • High fluency in Google Workspace required – Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted post or transcription/captioning tools preferred

  • Experience building or maintaining an asset management system preferred

  • Experience managing as a point-of-contact for client stakeholders, marketing partners, creative working teams, and external vendors

  • Clear communicator who builds trust across creative and production teams with an ability to cultivate team satisfaction by showing up kindly, collaboratively, and intelligently

  • Must be proactive, detailed-oriented, resourceful and possess the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple workflows simultaneously

  • Highly motivated, determined, and organized problem-solver with rigorous attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency

  • Effectively navigate and manage changing expectations in a deadline driven, rapidly evolving work environment

  • Proactive, flexible individual with strong, professional communication, customer service

  • Contains a love of efficiency, the desire to produce high-quality deliverables, and an ability to execute against multiple projects in a demanding work environment with often uncertain circumstances

  • Maintains composure in high-pressure environments and is receptive to feedback and collaboration.
