Ice Rink Guest Experience Ambassador

Enhance our guests' Ice skating experience by welcoming and helping guests navigate their check-in process and to gliding their way through on a unique indoor synthetic ice rink. This position will be in tandem with the Guest Services Team.

This will be a short-term event that will run from Nov 22, 2025 - Wed, Jan 1, 2026. Volunteer shifts are 9:30am - 1:30pm and 1:30pm - 5:30pm.

OMSI's mission is to inspire curiosity through engaging science learning experiences, foster experimentation and the exchange of ideas, and stimulate informed action.

Volunteers will be the first point of interaction for visitors, offering a welcoming, engaging, and safe experience at the ice rink. The ice rink is a real-world example of friction, physics, and engineering.

Volunteers will gain practical skills in engaging visitors at the ice rink, ensuring a welcoming and safe experience. Beyond the rink, they will have the unique opportunity to participate in the mission of a science museum and to be surrounded by science learning and contribute to inspiring curiosity in our community.

Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
