Dental Hygienist

Seeking a Dental Hygienist to Join our Growing Team!

We are a family owned practice in the heart of SE Portland. Our patients are well established and have a long history with our practice. We are open Monday-Thursday from 8:00-5:00 pm with the intention to open Fridays (part-time) in the future.

• $65 - $68 per hour

Competitive salary based on experience.

• 3x12

Shifts are from 7:30 am-5:00 pm with a lunch break from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Hygienists are required to have local anesthetic, CPR/BLS certification. Nitrous certificate is not required.

Experienced hygienists and new grads are welcome!

We are looking for a hygienist to join our growing team! Our office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 pm. The position is for 3-days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. We may have some flexibility if those days don't work for you.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
• Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide quality care in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings.

• Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist with local anesthetic certification.
• Proficiency in dental x-rays.
• Knowledge of medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and infection control practices.
• Familiarity with general dentistry procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
• Nitrous oxide certification not necessary
