We are looking for a Cabinet Sales Designer who is confident in 2020 Design, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is hungry to produce at a high level. This role is ideal for a designer who loves the combination of design + sales, and wants to own projects from first consult through final order.

$60,000 – $120,000 per year (Base + Commission)

What You’ll Do

As a Cabinet Sales Designer, you will own projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for both the design process and the overall client experience, ensuring each project moves forward cleanly, efficiently, and professionally.

You will lead the sales process from initial consultation through signed agreement, confidently presenting solutions, managing objections, and closing new business.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Meet with clients in the showroom and on-site to understand needs, lifestyle, and budget
  • Take accurate field measurements and interpret job-site conditions
  • Design kitchens and baths using 2020 Design (layouts, elevations, and renderings)
  • Build accurate cabinet quotes and pricing packages
  • Present designs confidently and guide clients toward decisions
  • Follow up consistently with leads, quotes, and active projects
  • Manage revisions and scope changes with clarity and professionalism
  • Coordinate with cabinet manufacturers and vendors through ordering and delivery
  • Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and internal team
  • Maintain showroom presence when not in appointments
  • Build relationships with remodelers, builders, architects, and designers through networking

This is a production role. We want someone who can design, execute, and sell.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of kitchen design and sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen layout planning and cabinetry standards
  • Ability to read plans and interpret job-site conditions
  • Ability to hand sketch a kitchen layout when needed
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail (accuracy matters)
  • Strong follow-up and pipeline management habits

    Comfortable presenting pricing, handling objections, and closing
  • Ability to work with both budget-friendly and high-end clients
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Portfolio of work required (kitchens/baths preferred)
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)
  • 2020 Design software experience
  • Experience working directly with contractors/builders
  • Knowledge of cabinet installation workflow and field coordination
