Design & Architecture Intern, Creative Design ​/ Digital Art

ZGF is seeking an -1 Intern to join our team in our Portland office. We are looking for creative, motivated, and curious individuals with a passion for design and the built environment. This internship is intended for students currently enrolled in high school and is designed as a developmental and supportive role for the Portland design and administrative teams.

• Be part of a community focused on design excellence and innovation
• Collaborate with ZGF teams to generate and develop ideas
• Perform miscellaneous office duties, organize the material library, prepare presentation materials, and potentially visit job sites
• Assist with elemental architectural assignments and work collaboratively with others toward solutions
• Help tell the story of our projects through various forms of media
• The intern will work under the direction of experienced professionals and receive specific, detailed guidance regarding tasks and expected outcomes.
• Support projects and initiatives by contributing to team-based solutions

• Creative curiosity and a willingness to learn
• An interest in design, the design industry, and/or graphic storytelling
• A desire to collaborate with and learn from others
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Current enrollment in a high school program

$16.80/hr
