Akana is a Native American–owned, multi-disciplinary consulting firm seeking a Drafter to join our team. This hybrid position may require some in-office days, with preference for candidates residing near Seattle, Portland, or Las Vegas. Occasional travel to job sites may be required.

• Create, modify, and manage detailed technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Work with engineers, designers, and project managers to complete modeling tasks, create views and sheets, and produce documents for QC purposes and deliverables.
• Track multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other consultants through BIM Collaboration software while maintaining model integrity and quality.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience with Revit and AutoCAD in a drafting or design role on MEP systems.
• Ability to collaborate with others and solve problems.
• Ability to make decisions based on designs and strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions.
• Flexibility in methods and a strong desire to learn.
