Residential Architect

Scott Edwards Architecture is seeking a Residential Architect to join for our small and energic award-winning residential team.

For the position of Residential Architect, we are seeking a candidate possessing technical precision and creative design skills to work full-time. This candidate will be passionate about high design and working on residential projects, is motivated, dependable, and willing to make a long-term commitment to working in this position.

Only resumes supporting the following qualifications and experience will be considered:

Architectural degree from an accredited school

• 6+ years professional experience in design and construction document production in high-end residential projects
• High degree of proficiency in architectural and interior detailing required
• Strong technical and design skills in the production of construction documents with a commitment to high quality design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants, while being mindful of project budgets and schedules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with client presentations.
• Expertise in Marketing initiatives with strong communication skills
• Construction Administration experience including schedules & change orders, attending regular site meetings, RFI responses, submittal and shop drawing reviews
