Description
Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an experienced Obstetrician to join an established team of OB Hospitalists in an On‑Call/Per Diem capacity. In this role, you will work within a collaborative group of certified nurse midwives, family practice physicians, and maternal‑fetal medicine specialists in providing quality, coordinated care to families. The facility is a Magnet‑Designated Hospital located in the heart of NE Portland serving patients and families with diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
Responsibilities- OB triage for unassigned patients
- Provide back‑up assistance to OB/GYN private practice colleagues
- Surgical assists
- Work with a team dedicated to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and providing culturally competent care
- Minimum 3‑5 years postgraduate clinical experience as an Obstetrician
- Previous OB Hospitalist experience and/or fellowship trained required
- Comfortable working 12‑hour shifts, combination of day and night (7 a.m.–7 p.m.)
- OB‑only; no call required
