OverviewThe Section of Molecular Imaging and Therapy in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at OHSU seeks a full‑time Nuclear Medicine Physician or Nuclear Radiologist. The section has state‑of‑the‑art imaging equipment and serves adult and pediatric patients, delivering a broad imaging caseload from five SPECT/CTs, two digital PET/CTs, and a PET/MRI. A robust theranostics program encompasses neuroendocrine tumor, prostate cancer, and research therapies, supported by medical physics and dosimetry.
Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and active involvement in the department’s educational activities – including Radiology residency and Nuclear Medicine residency/fellowship programs – are expected. The role may also involve research in investigative studies, industry‑sponsored trials, or retrospective projects, with access to the Center for Radiochemistry Research cyclotron facility.
- Oversee the daily activities of the section, managing a broad imaging caseload generated by SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MRI modalities.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate with faculty across the health system.
- Engage in educational activities, teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and postgraduate trainees.
- Develop and conduct research projects, including investigator‑initiated studies, industry‑sponsored clinical trials, and retrospective projects; collaborate with the Center for Radiochemistry Research for radionuclide development.
- Support the section’s robust theranostics program, maintaining high-quality patient care and protocol development.
- A or ABNM board certified or eligible after successful completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency.
- International Medical Graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate, have completed an ACGME‑accredited residency, and pass the A or ABNM exam or be board‑eligible through the A IMG Alternate Pathway program.
- All practice levels, including those currently undertaking Nuclear Medicine residency or fellowship training, are encouraged to apply.
