About the Position
Join Our Team as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician
Make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate end-of-life and palliative care as a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician. Lead quality care delivery for diverse patients in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise to enhance patient comfort and support families during difficult times. Required Skills:
Valid OR medical license and OR DEA registration, with active WA license and WA DEA if providing services in southwest WA area.
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM), with substantial hospice experience if in FM or IM.
Current BLS certification.
Demonstrated competence in hospice and palliative care.
Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and handle complex patient situations.
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with telehealth platforms.
Additional certifications in pain management or bereavement support.
Prior work in hospice or palliative care settings.
Multilingual abilities.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO).
Residency or fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience in hospice or palliative care.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work full-time, including shared weeknight and weekend call coverage.
Willingness to participate in telehealth services.
Must present valid licensure and DEA documentation prior to assignment.
Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification reimbursements applicable when necessary.
