About the Program
Junior Achievement engages students in experiential learning to develop healthy personal finance habits, empower them to explore the potential of becoming an entrepreneur and provide them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in their future careers.
In partnership with K-12 schools and community volunteers, JA is focused on reaching underserved youth.
About the ProjectSupport 5th-grade students in a one-day 4.5-hour business simulation within a replica city. Volunteers guide a group of 3–8 students through business operations, financial decisions, and team meetings.
The shifts are approximately 5.5 to 6 hours including the 1.5 hours of training.
JA provides all training and materials — no teaching experience required! All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Registration Form and sign the Volunteer Conduct and Digital Media Agreements (This will be provided once you "express interest" below).
Project Requirements- Age: Volunteers must be 18+
- Training: Online training (25 minutes prior to event) and a 60-minute onsite orientation on the day of the event are required.
Referral Opportunity: This opportunity is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. After you express interest, the partner will contact you with next steps and confirmation details.
