Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). This faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses covering power systems, manage capstone projects, support curriculum development, and direct the laboratory. Additionally, the applicant will engage with industry partners to strengthen career development pathways, recruit guest speakers and adjunct faculty, and inform continuous improvement of PSU’s power‑track programs.

The Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science has 100 full‑time faculty and enrolls more than 2,800 students. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers ABET‑accredited B.S. degrees and graduate programs and is committed to excellence in teaching, mentorship, and diversity.
Responsibilities- Teach two 4‑credit courses each quarter of the academic year (fall, winter, spring).
- Provide curriculum and program development support.
- Direct teaching laboratories.
- Supervise capstone projects.
- Engage regional industry partners to strengthen power engineering career pathways.
- Recruit guest speakers and adjunct faculty.
- Contribute to department, college, and university service.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related discipline.
- Experience teaching and/or related industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Demonstrated teaching excellence.
- Experience teaching at least three higher‑education courses or three years of industry experience.
- Experience teaching graduate and undergraduate electrical and computer engineering courses.

Salary and BenefitsStarting annual 9‑month salary: $85,000–$92,690 (may be negotiable). Benefits include 95% premium‑paid health care; generous retirement and vacation package; reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any Oregon University System school.
