Campus Rec’s FLASH program provides resources and experiential learning opportunities to support freshman students with their first paid position on campus. FLASH is a great opportunity for first-year students to become future leaders in the community. The program starts during fall term and provides on-campus employment and development opportunities to help first-year students to develop and strengthen their career readiness and occupational wellbeing.
Minimum Requirements- Current Portland State University degree seeking student with freshman class standing (defined as having fewer than 30 completed college credits)
- Minimum enrollment of 6 undergraduate credits for three out of four terms in the year
- Minimum 2.0 GPA and maintain good academic standing during employment
- Positive attitude
- Successfully complete a background check
