Position Summary
Portland State University, College of Urban and Public Affairs, is recruiting outstanding adjunct instructors with expertise in core areas of biological and biomedical sciences. The Biology Department offers undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs and seeks instructors to teach a variety of core biology courses. The specific course offerings and number of sections will depend on departmental needs and funding availability.

MS in Biology (or closely related field) with biology teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate courses.
Preferred QualificationsPhD Degree in Biology (or closely related field) with biology teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate courses.

CompensationCompensation is dependent upon qualifications and experience, with a minimum rate of $1,360 per credit hour.
