Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the Paralegal Department at the Cascade Campus. The department will review applications in this pool as needs arise for new part-time faculty. This is NOT an announcement of a specific open position, but a Part-time Faculty Interest Pool. Applications may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full-term class assignments.

• JD or PhD in law and two years of work experience in law or a related field
• OR BA or BS and four years of work experience in law or a related field
• For PL101, PL102, PL103, PL107, PL201, PL202, PL204: JD or PhD in law
• Two years of work experience in law or a related field

These positions are included in the bargaining agreement between Portland Community College and the Portland Community College Faculty Federation Employees.

Newly hired Part-time Faculty generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates are determined based on the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
