Part Time Faculty Interest Pool - College Success and Career Guidance

Portland Community College, a leading post‑secondary institution in Oregon, invites applications for part‑time faculty positions in College Success and Career Guidance. This is an interest pool; faculty assignments will be considered as course needs arise during the academic year.

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology (Counseling, Clinical, School, Applied, or Educational), Social Work, Applied Behavioral Science, or Education. (Other disciplines may be considered if specified.)
• For courses CG 100, 101, 102, 103, 105, 111A, 111B, 111C, 112, 130, 144, 145, 146, 147, 225, 0690, 0693.
• Official transcripts required within 2 weeks of offer.
• Instructors must have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent foreign institution.

Employment is limited to individuals residing in Oregon or Washington. Veterans and disabled veterans may apply under the Oregon Veteran’s Preference. Please submit the required documentation (DD214 for veterans; DD214 and VA letter for disabled veterans) as part of the application process.

• Hourly rates based on course type (Lecture, Lab, Lecture/Lab).
• Salary schedule:
  Step 1 for newly hired part‑time faculty.
• Eligible for Oregon Sick Leave and retirement savings plans for part‑time faculty.
