The full‑time Program Director will lead the School of Business Financial Wellness Initiative, "Investing for the Future." This initiative equips students with foundational knowledge in personal finance, investing, and long‑term wealth building, with a focus on advancing social and economic mobility. The role combines program leadership with instructional responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Oversee program strategy, operations, and partnerships for the initiative.
- Develop and deliver instructional content related to personal finance and investment.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and university deans to integrate curriculum.
- Contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and potentially accreditation and assurance of learning management.
- Report directly to the Dean while working closely with Associate Deans and the Assistant Dean of Student Success.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum five years of professional experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to teach or train individuals in personal finance or related topics.
- Experience managing programs, projects, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of personal finance, investing, and financial markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education.
- Professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, or similar.
- Experience working with diverse and underserved student populations.
- Familiarity with IRA and Roth IRA regulations and financial education programming.

40 hours per week; minimum of 4 in-person days and possibility of one remote day depending on program needs.
Total Compensation & BenefitsStarting annual salary ranges from $74,232 to $76,500, negotiable based on experience, market parity, and departmental budget. Benefits include 95% premium paid healthcare, generous retirement, vacation package, and reduced tuition rates for the employee, spouse, or dependent at Oregon University System schools.
