Position Summary
9‑month tenure‑track full‑time faculty position starting 9/16/2027. Requires terminal degree in Accounting and CPA or CMA certification. Public accounting experience and prior teaching experience required.
Primary ActivityInstruction.
Minimum Qualifications- Earned doctorate with emphasis in Accounting from a nationally accredited institution.
- Current or promising strong and innovative behavioral accounting research program appropriate to career stage.
- Recent evidence or promise of high‑quality teaching effectiveness in accounting.
- Experience or demonstrated ability to teach managerial accounting and accounting information systems or related content.
- Minimum two years of professional accounting experience.
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Strong and continuing commitment to research and teaching.
- Interest in teaching in both traditional in‑person and online modes and primarily undergraduate courses, with potential graduate courses as needed.
- Creates environment that acknowledges, encourages, and celebrates differences.
- Functions and communicates effectively and respectfully within context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities and cultural backgrounds.
- Seeks opportunities to gain experience collaborating in diverse, multicultural, inclusive settings with willingness to change for continual improvement.

- Contributes to culture of environmental stewardship, resource conservation, and sustainability goals.
Starting annual salary $150,000, negotiable based on experience.
