Description:
Adjunct Instructor of Business which includes Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resource Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship. The position reports to the Dean of the Business Division and is responsible for teaching courses with a substantial business emphasis for majors in these areas.
Essential Functions:- Teach assigned courses primarily in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship.
- Articulate and model current best practices in teaching.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Work collegially with faculty, staff, and students.
- Engage in scholarly activity in the relevant field.
- Collaborate with articulated programs.
- Participate in ongoing program development and evaluation.
- Understand and promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills in all interactions with faculty, staff, and students.
- Support and contribute to the implementation of the college's strategic plan.
- Continue professional growth, including participation in the professional development opportunities provided by the institution.
- Adhere to university policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate a commitment to a Christian liberal arts education by upholding the mission of the college and abiding by the Employment Standards and Lifestyle Agreement.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master of Science in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related area.
- College teaching experience in relevant curriculum.
- A successful professional record in business settings.
- Strong knowledge of current practices in the field.
- Professional experience in the field.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
The position is located in a typical office environment. Professional/business casual attire is required.
