Position SummaryThe Dual Language Immersion Teacher is primarily responsible for effective teaching and learning of the assigned subject(s) following district approved curriculum, instruction and assessment practices. Primary responsibility includes student safety and appropriate collaboration and attention to each student's readiness to learn including needed guidance, discipline, and welfare. Dual Language Immersion Teacher may teach in a variety of elementary and/or secondary educational, individual or team teaching settings.

Must hold or be able to obtain a valid Oregon licensure with an elementary‑multiple subjects endorsement.

- Annual Salary Range (2025‑2026): $58,788 – $111,463 (193‑Day Contract). Initial placement based on education, experience.
- This salary range reflects 1.0 FTE. Actual salary is prorated based on FTE and start date.
- This position qualifies for an annual approximate Extended Responsibilities Dual Language Immersion stipend: $3,645.
- Stipend(s) are pro‑rated based on 1.0 FTE and start/end dates of position/assignment.
- As a licensed employee, you are eligible to receive:
- A stipend of $2,500 if certified by NBPTS (National Board for Professional Teaching Standards).
- A stipend of $3,000 if you hold a PhD or EdD.
North Clackamas School District participates in the Oregon Public Employee Retirement System (PERS and OPSRP) on behalf of its employees. The district contributes the employer portion; mandatory employee portion is 6% of salary when eligible (after at least six months in a qualifying position). Part‑time employees working at least six months and 600 hours in a calendar year will qualify.
Desired Qualifications- ESOL and/or Bilingual Spanish endorsement.
- Successful experience teaching in a diverse student environment.
- Experience in a team‑teaching environment.
- Experience in the grade level(s) and/or content area(s).
- Experience in a Dual Language Immersion classroom.
