Portland Community College is the largest post‑secondary institution in Oregon and the 19th largest in the nation, serving approximately 80,000 full‑ and part‑time students.

This pool is for individuals who wish to serve as part‑time faculty in the Criminal Justice Department at the Cascade Campus. All initial part‑time teaching opportunities are limited to the campus classroom. Candidates must reside in Oregon or Washington.

• MA, MS, JD, or PhD in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, or a related accredited field with 3 years of full‑time non‑teaching work experience.
• AS, BA, or BS in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, or a related accredited field with 5 years of full‑time non‑teaching work experience.

Applicants must also list current PCC courses that they would be able to teach.

Newly hired part‑time faculty generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates are determined based on the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab). Part‑time faculty may be eligible for benefits such as Oregon Sick Leave and retirement savings plans.
