Position Description
The College of Arts & Sciences at Lewis & Clark College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor position for the academic year. Teaching responsibilities (three courses per semester, all expected to be in‑person) will include Abnormal Psychology and Personality Theory, and may include Psychology Methodology, Statistics, and/or Health Psychology. The position is full-time and benefits‑eligible, with a starting date of August 15, 2026.
QualificationsCandidates must have relevant expertise and the ability to teach Abnormal Psychology, as well as a demonstrated potential for teaching excellence in an undergraduate liberal arts environment. A PhD or ABD in a relevant field of Psychology is preferred.
