Part‑Time Faculty Interest Pool – Interior Design

Portland Community College is accepting applications for Part‑Time Faculty assignments in Interior Design. The Department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part‑time faculty based on course assignment needs during the Academic Year. Applicants may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full‑term class assignments.

• Teach interior design courses in the curriculum (lecture, lab or combined).

• Prepare instructional materials, deliver lectures, lead labs, assess student progress, and maintain an active professional practice in the field.

• Minimum of five (5) years professional experience in interior design or a related field.
• Related fields may include, but are not limited to:
  Architecture;
  Kitchen and Bath Design;
  Lighting Design;
  Textiles.

Demonstrated competence for Interior Design is determined on a course‑by‑course basis.
