Position:
Education Assistant (FT)
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing support for classroom teachers in kindergarten – grade
5. This support includes giving instruction (the actual teaching), paperwork (such as grading) and lesson planning. Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups to help them master assignments and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers. Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, playgrounds, and gymnasiums, or on field trips. Discuss assigned duties with classroom teachers to coordinate instructional efforts.
Work with the classroom teacher and/or the principal on behavior modification and personal development programs for individual students.

Must be willing to sign the PCS Statement of Faith and Lifestyle Statement. A background check will be run after a preliminary offer of employment is made.
Work Week and
Hours:
20 hr/wk when school is in session
Contract Term: 2026-27 academic year
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Current state teaching license preferred but not required
- ACSI certification within 30 days of hire
- A minimum of one year of work experience in an elementary school system
Pay: $17.50/hour
