Position: Automotive Collision & Repair Instructor (Full-Time - 1 year Temp )

Overview

Your Role:
Training the Next Generation

As a faculty member, you will bridge textbook theory and shop practice. You will teach a dynamic combination of:

  • Non-Structural Analysis and Repair: Preparation, plastic repair, and outer body panel repairs—building a base for later subjects.
  • Structural Analysis and Damage Repair: Framestraightening, welding and cutting, measuring, and pulling—skills to build, inspect, and repair vehicle structures.
  • Painting and Refinishing: Finishing vehicles, including surface preparation, spray equipment operation, color matching, and paint application.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Components: Under the hood work on suspension, steering, electrical systems, brakes, and HVAC systems.

Regarding Academic Credentials at PCC

Positions are included in the bargaining agreement between PCC and the PCC Faculty Federation Employees. Instructors shall have earned required credentials from a regionally accredited US institution or equivalent from a foreign institution. Transcripts from other countries will be evaluated by agencies with good standing in credential evaluation services to establish fulfillment of this standard.
