Training the Next Generation As a faculty member, you will bridge the gap between textbook theory and shop reality. You will teach a dynamic combination of:

Non-Structural Analysis and Repair:
Preparation, plastic repair, and outer body panel repairs—basic knowledge that serves as a base for later subjects.

Structural Analysis and Damage Repair:
From frame straightening to welding and cutting, measuring, and pulling—these are the skills needed to build, inspect, and repair vehicle structures.

Painting and Refinishing:
Masterminding the "finish" of the vehicle—Surface preparation, spray equipment operation, color matching, and paint application.

Mechanical and Electrical Components:
Going under the hood—Suspension and steering, electrical systems, brakes, and heating/air conditioning systems.

Instructors shall have earned required academic credentials at a regionally accredited US institution or a foreign institution having the equivalent of regional accreditation.

Instructors with credentials from other countries will have their transcripts evaluated by agencies that have good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services to establish fulfillment of this standard.
