We are accepting applications to be considered for Part‑Time Faculty assignments in the American Sign Language Department. The department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part‑time faculty in this area. This is not an announcement of a specific open position; rather, it is a Part‑time Faculty Interest Pool from which the department will identify applicants based on course assignment needs during the academic year.
Your application may be considered for substitute assignments as well as full‑term class assignments.

Learn more about our program here: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Please also review the PCC Course Catalog for American Sign Language (ASL). As part of this application, you may indicate the current PCC courses which you would be able to teach.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Possess, or be willing to obtain, certification within one year of hire date from the American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) – Certified Level.
- Demonstrate native or near‑native fluency in American Sign Language.
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in American Sign Language or a related field.
- Possess certification from the American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) – Certified Level Three.
- Three years of experience teaching American Sign Language.
