PARA EDUCATOR 2 | Probationary | 6.5 Hours | Sunset High School

Purpose: The Para educator 2 assists the Teacher in delivery of an instructional program by preparing the classroom and materials to support individual and small groups of students. The Para educator assists with planning and delivery of behavioral management and life skills across a variety of school and life contexts. They support classroom and student management while implementing teacher‑designed methods and materials with or without direct supervision.

The role provides supervision of student activities to maintain a safe and orderly environment.

Hourly Rate (2026‑27): $24.71 – $31.63 per hour (5 days per week based on 183 calendar work days).
